Paying attention to our mental well being is not always a priority and taking the first step can be difficult and overwhelming, This is an opportunity to work out what you are looking for and whether I am the right therapist for you.
I invite you to book a 15 minute complementary consultation to ask any questions and discuss how you can work towards a better understanding of yourself and any unhelpful patterns of behaviour in order to exact change.
Both short-term and open-ended therapy is available.
I provide a contract that outlines the practicalities and boundaries of our work together.
Six sessions are recommended as a starting point in order to get a fuller understanding of your issues and your hopes/goals for therapy.
Sessions are 50 minutes, weekly at an agreed time.
I am guided by you as to the pace and direction of our work and what you wish to achieve. Reviewing and reflecting on progress will be ongoing throughout our work together.
Whilst short term work is helpful, longer term, open ended work allows for an in-depth exploration of relational patterns, careful processing of trauma, hurt/grief and loss; as well as increasing self-awareness enabling more informed and better choices to be made.
